In the app
Open the app and go to Profile → menu (☰) → Settings → Delete my account, then confirm. We start deleting your account and its data right away.
By email
If you cannot open the app, email tby@tobby.live from the email of your account with the subject "Delete my account". We delete the account within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your profile, videos, photos, comments, chats and personal information are removed. Lives are not recorded, so there are no live recordings to delete. Some records are not removed; see the next section.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep some records only because the law or our safety work requires it:
- Payment and tax records: 5 to 10 years, as tax and accounting law requires.
- If you delete your account with paid coins you have not spent: only the number of those coins and the date, so that a later refund from Apple, Google or Stripe can be handled correctly.
- Reports and moderation records (including reports about you and reports you filed): as long as we need them to keep Tobby safe, handle appeals and stop repeat offenders, or as the law requires. We do not have a fixed deletion date for reports. Decision records and legal notices that are no longer open are deleted automatically about 1 year after they were created.
We use these records only for that purpose. Also, the records that Apple, Google and Stripe keep about your payments follow their own rules, and a copy of something you sent that another person saved or shared outside Tobby is not ours to delete. Your coins
Coins left in a deleted account are lost and are not refunded unless the law requires it. See Refunds.

Por correo
Si no puedes abrir la app, escribe a tby@tobby.live desde el correo de tu cuenta con el asunto "Borrar mi cuenta". Borramos la cuenta en un máximo de 30 días.
Qué se borra
Se borran tu perfil, tus videos, tus fotos, tus comentarios, tus chats y tu información personal. Los vivos no se graban, así que no hay grabaciones de vivos que borrar. Algunos registros no se borran; mira la sección siguiente.
Qué guardamos y por cuánto tiempo
Guardamos algunos registros solo porque la ley o nuestro trabajo de seguridad lo exige:
- Registros de pagos y de impuestos: de 5 a 10 años, como exige la ley de impuestos y contabilidad.
- Si borras tu cuenta con monedas pagadas que no has gastado: solo la cantidad de esas monedas y la fecha, para poder manejar bien un reembolso posterior de Apple, Google o Stripe.
- Reportes y registros de moderación (incluidos los reportes sobre ti y los que tú hiciste): el tiempo que los necesitemos para mantener Tobby seguro, atender apelaciones y frenar a quienes repiten, o como exija la ley. No tenemos una fecha fija para borrar los reportes. Los registros de decisiones y los avisos legales que ya no están abiertos se borran solos más o menos 1 año después de crearse.
Usamos estos registros solo para eso. Además, los registros que Apple, Google y Stripe guardan de tus pagos siguen sus propias reglas, y una copia de algo que enviaste que otra persona guardó o compartió fuera de Tobby no la podemos borrar nosotros. Tus monedas
Las monedas que queden en una cuenta borrada se pierden y no se devuelven, salvo que la ley lo exija. Mira Reembolsos.
